What is Microblading?

Microblading is a tattooing technique invented specifically for eyebrows in which semi-permanent pigment is placed under the skin. This is done using a small handheld blade. Tiny hair stroke lines are created in a unique pattern producing a natural brow shape which blends in with the hair. Cosmopolitan has a great article explaining microblading in full here.

Is Microblading right for me?

Microblading is suitable for any skin type, tone and hair colour. It is usually done to achieve fuller looking brows but it is also effective for those with natural brows. Either way we offer very natural results.

Is Microblading Painful?

Most people feel some minor pain during this procedure, however numbing cream is applied before hand to minimise sensitivity. I promise, it's not that bad!

How long does Microblading last?

Microblading usually lasts between one and three years. However, the longevity of the pigment depends on your skin type. People with more oily skin may find it fades quicker than those who have more normal to dry skin but most clients tend to book a top-up after one year to refresh the colour.

What are LVL Lashes?

LVL stands for Lift, Volume, Length. It is a lash-lifting and tinting treatment, exclusive to Nouveau, that works on your natural lashes to give the appearance of curl, length and volume. This treatment needs little maintenance and you would be surprised how well it works on even the shortest lashes.

How long does LVL Lashes last?

Your lashes have a natural cycle of around six week, therefore LVL Lashes usually last between four and six weeks.

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination gives your brows a set and more uniform shape. The hairs are brushed upwards and a setting lotion and tint is applied creating a more full and fluffy effect. Brow Lamination lasts around six weeks. Read more about the full process here.
